Soto & Sanchez is the foundation which started I Love L.A. as it established from within and has grown exponentially over the years in Los Angeles International Airport. Also Soto & Sanchez has been recognized as 100% Hispanic and 51% women owned. 

 

Owned by siblings-two sisters and two brothers – the experience of Soto & Sanchez is rooted in that the four grew up learning to run their parents’ family business (Grocery Markets). As they matured, each one used that firm foundation of retail experience.

 

I Love L.A. entered the airport business in 1994. I Love L.A. was awarded two news and gift shops in LAX Airport. This business took off from then on, those two locations are in prime areas in one of the busiest airports in the United States. 

The next growth spurt came when Soto & Sanchez , as a LLC under Pacific Gateway Concessions at the San Francisco International Airport, founded in 1998. The innovative, fast growing Soto & Sanchez owns 50% of  Pacific Gateway Concessions. Today PGC has locations in San Francisco International Airport, San Diego, JFK “NY” International Airport, Houston Airport, and Sacramento International Airport.

Soon after was a joint venture with Duty Free Shoppers in 2000, with Soto & Sanchez being involved with operations and sales.

HBF and Soto & Sanchez come together to start their path in Food & Beverage in late 2010. Today HBF Soto & Sanchez have 3 locations in San Francisco International Airport.

Most recently Soto & Sanchez formed a JV and won/opened 3 additional retail locations in LAX Terminal 1 Southwest. Those stores are I Love LA, Treat Me Sweet, and Sol Surf
